1. High strength foundation

Referring to the performance standards of similar high-strength steels (such as AH460), it is speculated that the yield strength of Docol 460HE is not less than 460MPa, and the tensile strength may be in the range of 550-700MPa, which meets the requirements of automotive structural parts for load-bearing capacity.

2. Excellent edge ductility

As a "high edge ductility" steel, it still maintains good plasticity in the edge area after punching, shearing and other processing, which can reduce the risk of cracking caused by stress concentration during the forming process, and is especially suitable for the cold stamping process of complex shape parts.

3. Good welding and formability

Advanced alloy design (such as low carbon + micro-alloying elements) may be adopted to support conventional welding processes such as arc welding and laser welding, and the strength loss of the welded joint is small; the yield strength ratio is low and the work hardening rate is reasonable, which is convenient for cold forming of complex geometric shapes.

4. Balance between lightness and safety

By improving the strength of the material, the thickness of the components can be reduced (10%-30% lighter than ordinary steel), while ensuring the collision energy absorption capacity, which is in line with the development trend of "lightweight and safety in parallel" in the automotive industry

2. Precision machining field

Applicable to components with high requirements for edge accuracy and fatigue resistance, such as gears, transmission shafts, etc., and improve production efficiency through cold processing.
