Hastelloy C-22 alloy steel pipe is a pipe made of Hastelloy C-22 alloy as raw material. Hastelloy C-22 alloy is internationally known as Alloy C-22, UNS N06022, ATI C-22, etc. Its origin includes Sweden, etc., with a nickel content of ≥56%, an impurity content of 0.1%, and a particle size of 1 mesh.

The main components (%) of the alloy are: nickel (Ni) ≥56.0, molybdenum (Mo) 12.5~14.5, tungsten (W) 2.5~3.5, carbon (C) ≤0.015, silicon (Si) ≤0.08, phosphorus (P) ≤0.02, manganese (Mn) ≤0.50, iron (Fe) 2.0~6.0, cobalt (Co) ≤2.502.

Performance characteristics

Corrosion resistance

Due to the content of Cr, Mo, W and the control of Fe content, Hastelloy C-22 alloy exhibits corrosion resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids, and also has corrosion resistance to mixed acids. It is particularly suitable for resisting pitting and crevice corrosion in acidic halide environments. At the same time, it has an exceptional resistance to various chemical environments, including strong oxidizing substances such as ferric chloride, cupric chloride, chlorine, hot contaminated solutions (organic and inorganic), formic acid, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, seawater and salt solutions. In addition, it has excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media, including wet chlorine, nitric acid or mixed acids of oxidizing acids containing chloride ions, and also has ideal resistance to reducing and oxidizing environments encountered during the process.
