Performance characteristics

1. Temperature applicability

Alloy 825 can be used at working temperatures up to 550℃, while super duplex stainless steel works at 250℃, which allows nickel-based alloy 825 steel plates to be used in higher temperature environments.Alloy 825 retains most of its impact strength at low temperature performance, while the performance of duplex and super duplex stainless steels tends to decline at very low temperatures.

2. Corrosion resistance

The high nickel content ensures resistance to stress corrosion cracking. The addition of molybdenum and copper enables it to resist reducing environments such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid. The addition of titanium can inhibit intergranular corrosion that may occur at high temperatures.

3. Other properties
