Basic information and corresponding grades
Monel 400 alloy steel bar is a nickel-based Ni-Cu single-phase solid solution corrosion-resistant alloy with excellent comprehensive performance. Its corresponding grades include UNS N04400, W.Nr.2.4360, NAS NW400, NCu30 and 30 nickel-copper alloy, etc., and implements ASTM B127, ASTM B164, ASTM B165 and other standards

1. Density: 8.83g/cm³
2. Tensile strength at room temperature: high strength (specific values are not clearly marked with minimum values)
3. High temperature working temperature: continuous working temperature in air is about 600℃, and the corrosion rate in high temperature steam is less than 0.026mm/a
Corrosion resistance
Monel 400 alloy rods show excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of environments, including:
1. Acid medium: resistant to sulfuric acid with a concentration of ≤85%, and is one of the few materials that can withstand hydrofluoric acid
2. Water and seawater corrosion: corrosion rate <0.025mm/a, and pitting and stress corrosion rarely occur
3. Other environments: resistant to neutral solutions, atmosphere, organic compounds, anhydrous ammonia (below 585℃) and chloride solutions

General corrosion-resistant alloy with large dosage and wide application
Good ductility and excellent welding performance (AWS is recommended A5.14 welding wire ERNiCu-7 or AWS A5.11 welding rod EniCrCu-7)
Good cutting performance, generally no stress corrosion cracking
High surface finish, can be processed into thin plates, bars and other forms
