Cold Rolled High Magnetic Induction Oriented Silicon Steel is a special steel designed for high-efficiency electromagnetic applications. It is mainly used for the manufacture of iron cores for power equipment such as transformers and motors.

Basic definition and composition
1. Composition characteristics:
Silicon (Si) is the main alloying element (usually 2.9%-3.5%). The addition of silicon significantly reduces the eddy current loss of the iron core. At the same time, the magnetic properties are optimized by strictly controlling the content of impurities such as carbon (C) and sulfur (S).
2. Crystal structure:
Through cold rolling and high-temperature annealing processes, the grains are highly oriented along the <001> direction (easy magnetization direction) to form a "Goss texture", thereby improving the magnetic permeability.

1. High magnetic induction:
The typical magnetic induction value B800≥1.88T (under 800A/m magnetic field) is much higher than that of ordinary silicon steel, which can reduce the volume and weight of the iron core.
2. Low Core Loss:
Eddy current loss is extremely low under high frequency or high magnetic field (such as P1.7/50≤0.9W/kg), which significantly improves energy efficiency.
3. Magnetic anisotropy:
Magnetic performance is optimal along the rolling direction, suitable for directional magnetic field applications
Key production processes
1. Cold rolling and annealing:
Oriented texture is formed through multiple cold rolling (total reduction rate>80%) and decarburization annealing, and finally high temperature annealing (about 1200°C) promotes grain growth.
2. Insulation coating:
The surface is coated with phosphate or magnesium oxide coating to enhance insulation and reduce eddy currents between laminations.

Especially large power transformer core, which can reduce no-load loss (such as "green transformer" design).
2. High-frequency motors and generators:
