Basic properties of Grade 2 titanium alloy

Grade 2 titanium alloy belongs to the category of pure titanium alloy, corresponding to the US UNS number R50400, and the implementation standards include ASTM B265-2015. Its core characteristics are low strength but excellent plasticity, outstanding low-temperature toughness and corrosion resistance, and good pressure processing performance, but poor cutting performance. Argon protection is required during heating and welding to prevent combustion in nitrogen environment
